Parochial Church Council (PCC)

The PCC is the body responsible, with the Rector and Church Wardens, for the management of the mission and property of the parish. There’s a photoboard of the PCC members in the St Andrew’s Centre foyer and copies of agreed PCC Minutes can be viewed in the file in the outer office at St Andrew’s. The PCC works with the minister in sharing leadership of the parish, and new members are elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting in April. The PCC meets six times a year to discuss church business, and has a standing committee to carry on routine business between meetings. The agenda is displayed in the PCC Folder in the outer office at St Andrew’s prior to each meeting, and agreed minutes of past meetings are added to the folder after each meeting. PCC has a number of sub-committees (such as for Children and Youth work, Fabric and Maintenance, IT etc.) who carry out PCC business and report to PCC.
