Ann Turner and friends are presenting a concert entitled ‘Music in May’ at 7.30pm on Saturday 9th May in St Andrew’s Main Hall. After almost 40 years of performing, this concert is going to be their last and they would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who have performed with them, and those who have attended the concerts over many years to help raise money for a number of charities. As it is their last concert, it’s particularly appropriate that it will be in support of Hope Gardens, Tamil Nadu, South India – a charity they have raised money for since it was launched in 2000. There will be the usual range of musical styles, including vocal music from operetta and musical theatre, piano duets and solos. There are no tickets and a collection will be made with all of the collection going to the charity.
